A flood warning system could help save lives in the Mackay region and protect those most vulnerable to what will only become an escalating threat.

Solar energy for remote South Australian communities

South Australia’s Remote Area Energy Scheme’s (RAES) flagship plant, the Central Power House in Umuwa, is taking a step toward integrating photovoltaic systems and is seeking qualified project management to manage the transition.

By integrating solar energy, RAES hopes to save on maintenance and diesel costs as the power plant consumes an average three million litres of fuel per year.
