Salary:  AUD $53,790 per annum plus Superannuation

Employment status: Term Contract – until June 2022

Employment arrangement: Part Time – 18.12 hours per week

The City is about to embark on a strategic program of works to inspire city-scale uptake of renewable energy. Working with a team of people, the Sustainability Engagement Coordinator will develop, deliver and manage a suite of projects aimed at achieving our renewable energy targets. The Coordinator will be required to establish and build relationships with diverse stakeholders in all levels of government, our community, and industry – particularly in our priority customer sectors of accommodation and entertainment, residential apartments and commercial office.

The focus of the role is to deliver and evaluate projects currently in design and then to develop the next suite of projects that will transition our community towards a net-zero emissions future.

The successful candidate will have:

  • tertiary qualifications at degree level in a relevant discipline and/or extensive experience;
  • knowledge of and experience in renewable energy;
  • proven program management skills and experience in delivering behaviour change programs;
  • proven contract management skills and the ability to negotiate mutually beneficial program outcomes.
