This is an excellent opportunity for a talented, motivated sustainability engineer to join our growing team in the Sydney office. You will be working on some of the most exciting sustainable design projects in Australia with the opportunity to work on global projects. We expect all team members to aim to go well beyond industry standards to positively impact on every project we work on.
Working collaboratively within a team of ESD consultants, and as part of a global network of sustainability and building services experts, you will develop your existing knowledge and skills in energy, daylight and thermal comfort modelling, parametric modelling, and building physics analysis, and use these to inform the development of energy and sustainability strategies for new and existing buildings.
Educated in Engineering or the Built Environment, and having gained relevant practical experience in a similar role since graduation, you will have demonstrable knowledge and experience of building physics, particularly in relation to heat transfer, energy, thermal comfort, daylight, glare and air flow modelling.
Ideally you will also have an understanding of Australian building regulation and rating tools such as NABERS, Green Star and the WELL Building Standard.
Experience with or desire to progress further skills in parametric modelling is also highly desirable.
