Jobs movements: Equiem, Brisbane City Council, Aurecon

Prop tech company Equiem has nabbed AMP Capital’s Jon Lesquereux as the firm’s new regional head for the Asia Pacific.

He will oversee a team of 200 and will lead the company’s expansion into Singapore this year.

He has 25 years’ property experience in Sydney, London and Auckland, with previous roles at AMP Capital, Colonial First State Global Asset Management, Kiwi Income Property Trust and Knight Frank.

The Brisbane City Council welcomed a new Lord Mayor last week after Graham Quirk’s resignation. 

Adrian Schrinner has already promised five new green bridges for Brisbane for pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. He has also been the chair of the Public and Active Transport Committee since 2016.

Aurecon has appointed Jasmax’s Tim Hoosen as its new client director, built environment and innovation in New Zealand. He comes from New Zealand’s largest practice of architects, and urban, workplace and interior designers. 

Mr Hooson has spent 17 years in leadership positions with the NZ practice of architects, and urban, workplace and interior designers.
