Jobs news: Arcadis; Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group; Great Places Co

Jacqui Banks has moved to the private sector after working for the Victorian government since 2016, joining Arcadis as city executive Melbourne.

Ms Banks has most recently worked on the Fishermans Bend project, Australia’s largest urban renewal project, with the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions.

She’s also worked at the City of Port Philip, the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment.

The Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group has a new chief executive officer. Stepping up to Rob Millard’s old role is Jillian Riseley, who has more than 20 years experience across corporate, government and cultural sectors.

Ms Riseley joins the waste management service from Vicinity Centres, where she was general manager of strategic projects and inclusion.

She’s remains the board director of the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria

Paul Georgiades is now the development director at Great Places Co. Formerly the senior development manager, he’s also held senior positions at UrbanGrowth NSW, Coles Group Property Developments and ING Real Estate Investment Management.

Anna Cumming is now the managing editor of Renew’s Sanctuary magazine, dedicated to sustainable house design. She’s been working at the company for nine years.

WSP’s Matthew Salisbury has been promoted to lead the engineering services firm’s national education business for the property and buildings sector.
