Nicholas Wolff has been appointed program director, Central Renewal Project at Transport for NSW, as the state government goes into the next iteration of how it delivers major projects. He was previously project director, Sydney Modern Project (AGNSW) & Walsh Bay Arts Precinct (INSW), and has held senior roles with Landcorp in Western Australia and as CEO with Frasers Property Australia.

Davis Demillo is now the ESD team leader at Cardno, a global infrastructure, environmental and social development company. He formerly headed up the sustainability team at ADP Consulting.

Before that, Mr Demillo was a sustainability engineer at Wood and Grieve Engineers.

Virginia Piccone is the new research director at Pollinate. Before she took the role at the strategic research consultancy, she was a senior consultant at The Leading Edge.

Former secretary of the Department of the Environment & Energy David Fredericks is now the head of the new Department of Industry, Science, Energy & Resources, which has taken on energy and emissions reduction now that the Department of the Environment & Energy has been abolished.

Andrew Metcalfe will head up the newly formed Department of Agriculture, Water & the Environment.

Danielle Wood has been appointed the new chief executive officer of Grattan Institute. She will take over from Professor John Daley after he retires in July 2020.

She is currently the budget policy and institutional reform program director at the public policy think tank.
