Digby Hall

Digby Hall has joined Northrop Consulting Engineers as sustainable communities and climate resilience lead.

Mr Hall has worked in sustainability roles at Aurecon and Umow Lai and is founder of Weave Studio, a sustainability service focusing on sustainable property planning, urban and corporate ecology, and sustainability master plans.

Justine Kinch is returning to AECOM to lead the buildings and places teams across New South Wales and ACT after a stint at Arcadis.

Ms Kinch led the company’s design and planning team for a number of years before launching the firm’s Western Sydney strategy.

Urbis has appointed two new directors: Mark Damant will join the Brisbane team, and Rita Soudo the Gold Coast team.

Mr Damant joins from Woods Bagot, and brings expertise in urban design, precinct creation, feasibility studies, mixed-use developments, and urban regeneration.

Ms Soudo was previously based in WA and brings both national and international expertise to the role.

Andre Kyriacou also returns to the urban planning company as an associate director in the Brisbane office.

The National Association of Women in Construction is welcoming Kristine Scheul to the position of national chair and Alison Price to the position of vice chair.

A program dedicated to supporting the next generation of women climate leaders will be hosted in Sydney. The city was selected to host the annual Women4Climate Conference in 2020 and will become the latest city globally to host the C40 Women4Climate Mentorship Program.

The program will pair 20 inspiring emerging women leaders from diverse fields with established women leaders from across the city, government, business and civil society.
