NABERS is forming a new steering committee and expressions of interest are open for organisations that wish to become stakeholder members.

The steering committee has been designed to bring together both industry and government stakeholders to guide the strategic direction of the NABERS program.

Organisations will need to nominate a suitably qualified individual to consult with and provide feedback on behalf of the organisation and its members. They will need to commit to a three-year period on the committee, with the individual attending meetings four times a year, two of which are face-to-face.

The steering committee will be accountable to the NSW Minister for the Environment.

There will be up to 15 stakeholder members representing various stakeholders in the NABERS/building sustainability space, including from commercial buildings, residential apartments, aged care and health, data centres, industrial buildings, HVAC and/or building services,  building designers or architects, property or facility management and BMS data management.

Expressions of interest close 5pm 31 January.

See here for more information on how to apply.
