They provide NABERS ratings, Energy Audits, Indoor Environment & Air Quality Assessments, CBD Tenancy Lighting Assessments, BEECs and Green Star Performance services to many of Australia’s leading property owners. They offer the full suite of NABERS Ratings across all property types including NABERS IE and Waste Ratings. They have an innovative approach to these services and are looking for Consultants with a wide range of experience in delivering Sustainability Services.

With a focus on always providing reliable, efficient and cost-effective services to clients, NettZero are more than just NABERS Assessors, they are experienced Sustainability Engineers who are uniquely positioned to offer a wide range of services to the Property Sector.

About the Opportunity

Due to an exciting growth period, NettZero now has an opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Engineer to join their busy team in Sydney on a full-time basis. As NettZero continue to expand their Sustainability Services they are looking for professionals with experience in delivering sustainability services including Green Star Performance Assessments, Energy Audits, Indoor Environment & Air Quality Assessments, Waste Auditing/Management, WELL Assessments, and Section J Reports as well as providing NABERS & BEEC Accredited Assessments.
NettZero deliver these services across the commercial, retail and industrial sectors nationally, however, this role will be primarily focused on properties in the Sydney CBD area and throughout NSW. Some of your day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering projects across the commercial and retail sectors in a quality, cost-effective and efficient manner;
  • Liaising with Facility Managers/Building Managers to gather information required for the Assessments;
  • Conducting building site inspections
  • Communicating project updates to clients on a local and national level; and
  • Conducting and delivery sustainability assessments including CBD Tenancy Lighting Assessments, Energy Audits,
  • NABERS Ratings and Greenstar Performance Assessments as required.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a Sustainability Engineer and NABERS Assessor. Additionally, experience in delivering any of the other Sustainability Service listed above will be highly regarded.

As this is a fairly autonomous role within a Team environment you will need to be comfortable prioritising your workload to ensure all deadlines are met. As an analytical thinker, you will also be able to analyse and read situations well and continually find creative ways to overcome challenges or obstacles.

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Property and/or Sustainability will be highly regarded. This position is well suited to someone with strong attention to detail, from either a property or engineering background, who has a genuine interest in sustainability and wants to work as part of a motivated team.
